How Do I Charge The ARI Electric Vehicle?

Charging your ARI electric vehicle is very easy and can be done in just a few steps. All you need is a standard 230 V socket and the charging cable supplied as standard equipment. However, charging at a wall box or charging station is also possible with an adapter cable. Fast charging cables are also available for most of our vehicles, which greatly shorten the charging process.

So you have three options to choose from:

1. Charging at standard sockets (230 V) with standard charging cable
2. Charging at type 2 sockets using an adapter cable (also: wall box, charging station)
3. Charging with a fast charging cable

Option 1: charging at standard sockets (230 V) with charging cable (2.5 m long)

Where: e.g. home, depot, business premises

How:

1. Open the loading flap on the side of the ARI with vehicle key
2. Unscrew the cap from the charging connector
3. Plug the charging cable supplied as standard into the charging connection
4. Plug the charging cable into the outside socket (230 V).
5. Charge

Option 2: Charging at type 2 sockets, wall boxes or charging stations by using an adapter cable

Where: At charging stations or wall boxes (e.g. at the university, at the place of work, supermarket)

How:

1. Open the loading flap on the side of the ARI with the key
2. Unscrew the cap from the charging connector
3. Connect the optionally available adapter cable
4. Plug the adapter cable into the Type 2 socket/wall box/charging station
5. Charge

Option 3: Charging with fast charging cable

If charging is to be particularly fast, the use of a fast charging cable is a good idea. This reduces the charging period by about half.

2. Plug the fast charging cable into the charging connection
3. Plug the fast charging cable into the socket
4. Charge
