Start of the long-distance journey - from Borna to Berlin
The ARI 1710 started in Borna with a full battery. Thanks to a quick-charging station, the battery was charged from 57% to 100% within a short time the previous evening. Even during loading, it becomes clear how spacious and well thought-out the van is: securing points in the floor and a robust ribbed floor ensure that even heavy goods, such as an ARI 345 in this case, can be stowed without any problems.

To prepare for the return journey, another charging stop was scheduled. In Berlin, where charging stations are often heavily used, the charging power at a fast charging station was reduced to 58 kW. Nevertheless, the battery was sufficiently charged in a short time to start the return journey.

The return journey went just as smoothly as the outward journey. Due to the city traffic and a few roadworks, the energy consumption was initially reduced before things picked up again on the highway. After a total of almost 400 kilometers, the van reached the headquarters in Borna with 19% battery capacity left. There was no loss of performance during the entire journey, and the vehicle felt reliable and safe as the distance increased.
