How can I charge my ARI electric vehicle?
Charging an ARI electric vehicle is easy and can be done in a few simple steps. In many cases, all you need is a standard 230 V socket and the charging cable supplied as standard.
Many models can also be charged at a wallbox or public charging station (type 2). Depending on the vehicle, this is done directly via a type 2 connection or via an optional adapter cable. CCS fast charging is possible for some vehicles, which can significantly shorten the charging process.
In addition, many ARI vehicles can also be charged with electricity from a balcony solar system.
You basically have four charging options
-
Charging at standard sockets (230 V) with standard charging cable
-
Charging at wallboxes or public charging stations (type 2)
-
Charging via CCS fast charging (depending on model)
-
Charging with balcony solar system
Option 1: Charging at a 230 V socket
Where: e.g. at home, company yard, factory premises or in the garage
How:
-
Open the charging flap or charging cover on the vehicle
-
Remove the protective cap from the charging connection
-
Connect the charging cable supplied as standard to the vehicle
-
Insert the charging cable plug into a 230 V socket
-
The charging process starts
Charging via a normal socket is the easiest and most flexible way to charge an ARI electric vehicle.
Option 2: Charging at a wallbox or charging station (type 2)
Where: e.g. at public charging stations, at your employer, at supermarkets or at private wallboxes.
Depending on the vehicle, charging takes place
-
directly via a type 2 connection, or
-
via an optional type 2 adapter
How to:
-
Open the charging flap or charging cover
-
Remove the protective cap from the charging port
-
Connect the charging cable or adapter cable
-
Establish connection with the wallbox or charging station
-
Start the charging process
Option 3: Charging via CCS fast charging socket
Some ARI models can be charged quickly via CCS connection to significantly reduce the charging time.
How to do this:
-
Open the charging flap or charging cover
-
Connect the CCS fast charging cable to the charging port
-
Start the charging process
Depending on the vehicle and battery, the charging time can be reduced by up to around 50%.
Option 4: Charging with a balcony solar system
Many ARI electric vehicles can also be charged with electricity from a balcony solar system. The solar power generated is fed to the vehicle via a standard 230 V socket.
Advantages:
-
Use of self-generated solar power
-
Lower electricity costs
-
Particularly useful for short-distance vehicles and urban traffic
