Where can I have my ARI electric vehicle repaired?

Depending on how empty the battery was, it takes about 6-8 hours to charge the [electric transporter ARI 458](/en/light-electric-vans) and the [ARI passenger vehicles](/en/electric-cars) as well as about 6-8 hours at a normal 230 volt household socket. With the LiFePO4 battery, a quick charging function is also available for these vehicles, which significantly shortens the charging time. The charging time of the large [electric transporter ARI 901] (/en/electric-transport-vehicle) is also around 6-8 hours, depending on the battery level. A quick charge function is also available for this vehicle, which roughly halves the charging time.

 

The [cargo moped ARI 145] (/en/cargo-mopeds/ari-145) is charged in 3-4 hours, depending on the battery level, the [cargo trike ARI 345 Box] (/en/cargo-mopeds/ari-345/box) in about 4-5 hours. For cost reasons, no quick charge function is available for these models.

 

All ARI Motors electric vehicles are also available with solar panels, which fill up with solar energy even when the vehicle is stationary and thus extend the range without power supply. Many customers also use the lunch break, for example, to briefly "top up" with electricity. The fact that you don't need a separate charging box, but can charge it at any standard socket, helps immensely.

How Long Does It Take For The Vehicle To Be Fully Charged?

The delivery of parcels and letters, but also newspapers, is increasingly being carried out with electric vehicles. With the "Magdeburger Volksstimme", the largest newspaper in Saxony-Anhalt is also increasingly focusing on electromobility and has therefore purchased an [ARI 458 Box](/en/light-electric-vans/ari-458/box) for the delivery of its products. According to logistics manager Torsten Kniep, the umbrella brand "Mediengruppe Magdeburg" is constantly looking for alternatives to deliver its products to customers in an ecological and economical way. In addition to the paper "Volksstimme Magdeburg", the products also include the parcel and letter delivery service of the "biber post".

 

In the version used, the [box of the ARI 458](/en/light-electric-vans/ari-458/box) is 1.31 metres long, 1.16 metres wide and 95 centimetres high and can therefore hold almost 1,500 litres of cargo. And thanks to the payload of 530 kilograms, it can hold a lot of newspapers and packages. And so the electric transporter supports the fleet of 19 electric vehicles, which range from 2- and 3-wheel electric cargo bikes to larger electric commercial vehicles such as the German postal vehicle Streetscooter. The ARI 458 Box covers a distance of 20 to 100 kilometres per day and only gets positive reactions. According to Mr. Kniep, customers find the vehicle stylish, quiet and manoeuvrable.

 

We get an interesting answer to the question of whether the [ARI 458](/en/light-electric-vans) has a nickname. Yes, it does, namely: "Papamobil". It sounds familiar to us. That's right, that's also the name of the [ARI 458 Pickup](/en/light-electric-vans/ari-458/pickup) from Mr. Fliri from South Tyrol in Italy. The lead gel batteries are designed for ca. 1.000 charging processes. After these, the capacity will decrease by approximately 10% every year. A new set of lead gel batteries currently costs about 1.600 EUR.

 

The lithium battery lasts approximately 3.000 charging processes, before decreasing in capacity by 10% every year. A replacement has a price of ca. 2.600 EUR.
