The facility and cleaning service company “Priedigkeit Gebäudeservice und Dienstleistungen” in 06667 Weißenfels is using the ARI 458 electric transport vehicle for a while to deliver cleaned laundry to its customers. The used ARI vehicle with the standard box body has cargo space dimensions of 132 cm in length and 119 cm in width.

 

Consequently, a europallet fits easily in the small and flexible electric transport vehicle. Of course, we also offer bigger box bodies for more cargo space.

 

The ARI Motors vehicle of the company “Priedigkeit Gebäudeservice und Dienstleistungen” is in daily use and also handles the hills in and around Weißenfels without problems.

The bakery "Bäckerei Hafendörfer" in Stuttgart shows that tradition and progress are by no means mutually exclusive. The family business, which has been in business for over 120 years, has opted for an [ARI 458 Box XL](/en/light-electric-vans/ari-458/box) with a roller door in the box body as the electric bakery vehicle. In this way, the daily baked goods and confectionery goods can be transported from the bakery to the company's five stores in Stuttgart or directly to the customer.

 

The brothers Falk and Dirk Hafendörfer chose the manoeuvrable [ARI 458 Box XL](/en/light-electric-vans/ari-458/box) to be able to make deliveries in the narrow streets of downtown Stuttgart without any problems. The box body is 1.64 meters long, 1.30 meters wide and 1.30 meters high. Consequently, a loading volume of up to 2.8 m³ is possible and a lot of rolls and cakes fit in the ARI. Thanks to the side roller doors in the box body, loading and unloading is quick and easy, so that the goods always arrive fresh at their destination.

 

The [ARI 458 Box XL](/en/light-electric-vans/ari-458/box) replaces a Piaggio Porter and is already the fourth electric vehicle of the family business. Two street scooters named (roughly translated) “Particle Accelerator” and “Racing Bun” are available for large deliveries. The versatile and practical [ARI 458 light electric van](/en/light-electric-vans) was given the name "Krümmelchen", a diminutive of the German word for “crumble”. According to owner Falk Hafendörfer, the vehicles particularly popular with children. And so "Krümmelchen" travels around 30 kilometres a day in the narrow inner-city streets of Stuttgart to distribute freshly baked goods in the city.

 

Perhaps the cute [ARI 458](/en/light-electric-vans) reminds Herr Hafendörfer of his first car: a 1957 BMW Isetta in vineyard red, which he still owns. In any case, we wish the "Bäckerei Hafendörfer" always a safe journey, happy baking and that the tradition of electromobile progress lives on.

Having already introduced Vinzenz Fliri, our Italian customer, this time we want to travel even further to the southwestern tip of Europe. In Portugal, an [ARI 458 Pickup L](/en/light-electric-vans/ari-458/pickup) with a 3-piece lattice box has found a new home. Owner Ulrich Gruetter opted for the vehicle because he was impressed by the "ideal mix of price, loading space, load weight, performance, range and top speed" and even after a long search, no comparable offer could be found. In addition, the vehicle looks smart and would evoke positive reactions from visitors.

 

The [ARI 458 Pickup L](/en/light-electric-vans/ari-458/pickup) is used for transporting firewood, building materials, garden materials such as humus and compost as well as for fruit and olive harvesting. The vehicle also covers the daily short trips for shopping, covering around 50 to 100 kilometres per week. It does not completely replace a combustion vehicle, but takes over the short-distance tasks of a Skoda Roomster and should thus extend the life of the vehicle. Furthermore, with its open loading area, it is simply better suited for transporting most materials.

Registering your ARI electric vehicle is one of the first steps you should take after purchase. Because you can only drive on the road with a registered vehicle. The admission procedures vary from country to country. You should therefore check the national regulations of registering a vehicle in your country. Then, make an appointment at the vehicle registration office designated for you.

 

**Which documents are required?**

 

By purchasing an ARI Motors electric vehicle, you will receive the following documents from us, which you will need to register your vehicle:

 

- New vehicle confirmation from ARI Motors
- Customs documentation for your ARI electric vehicle
- eVB (electronic insurance verification) number of the vehicle insurance
- COC papers - also called EC Certificate of Conformity

 

Furthermore, you will need some personal and commercial documents. Here is a list of those required in most countries:

 

- ID card of the vehicle owner or passport with current registration certificate
- For minors: written declaration of consent and IDs of legal guardians
- For companies: business registration and, possiby, extract from the commercial register
- For associations: extract from the register of associations
- In the case of representation: written power of attorney and identity card of the authorized representative


 

Bring all documents with you to the agreed appointment at the vehicle registration office. Your application for approval can then be processed immediately and approval for your ARI electric vehicle can be granted.
