ARI 458 Box XL in use at energy supplier N-ERGIE in Nuremberg
Factory and business premises are a popular location for the ARI 458 electric vans, as the vehicles score points here with their small dimensions and lack of exhaust fumes. For example, the electric vans can also be used in factory halls where combustion engines are banned due to their toxic exhaust fumes. In addition, no engine noise disturbs operation and the vehicles can also drive through narrow terrain or building sections without bumping into anything. As a result, ARI Motors electric transporters are also very popular with municipal institutions such as public utilities.
ARI 458 Box XL at N-Ergie Nürnberg
The energy company "N-ERGIE", which supplies Nuremberg and Franconia with electricity, natural gas, district heating and water, has opted for an ARI 458 Box. It is now on the road every day on the company premises, where it takes on transport tasks as well as occasional trips around the city.
According to fleet manager Werner Moschner, the ARI 458 Box was purchased to handle the ever-increasing transport volumes and at the same time to be able to maneuver easily on the sometimes narrow company premises. These tasks were previously performed by a large handcart, which could no longer cope with the increased volume. In addition to a significantly higher payload, the ARI 458 Box XL with a payload of 531 kg naturally has several other advantages over a hand truck: seats, a driver's cab and its own drive, for example. At the same time, despite all the advantages, the ARI electric transporter produces just as much noise and CO2 emissions: namely zero. A good trade-off!
