Electric Transporters with Payloads of up to 1.5 Tonnes: Which Models Suit Businesses?

Whether it is tools for a building site, parcels for last-mile delivery or green waste for a municipal depot, payload determines whether an electric transporter is right for the job. ARI Motors offers five models with payloads from 850 kilograms to around 1.5 tonnes. When choosing, remember that the driver, passengers and fitted equipment such as shelving or refrigeration units also count towards the payload.

ARI 458 Pro: up to 850 kg

The ARI 458 Pro is the most compact transporter in the range, ideal for city centres, company premises and green spaces. It reaches 71 km/h, has a range of up to 230 kilometres and is available in more than 30 body variants, from a box body and flatbed models to a sales vehicle.

ARI 901: around 900 kg

The ARI 901 is an N1-class transporter with a top speed of 100 km/h and a range of up to 250 kilometres, making it suitable for country roads and motorways as well. It is available as a panel van, with a box body, as a pickup and as a tipper. The XL box body offers up to 7.6 cubic metres of load volume.

ARI 901 XL: up to 1,375 kg

The ARI 901 XL panel van combines a high payload with 6.4 cubic metres of load space while remaining under 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight, so it can be driven with a standard car licence. The absence of a B-pillar on the passenger side creates an especially wide side loading opening.

Its range is up to 301 kilometres, and DC fast charging gets the battery ready for use again in around 60 minutes.

ARI 1710: up to 1,475 kg

The ARI 1710 panel van is the largest transporter in the ARI range, with up to 12 cubic metres of load volume and a range of up to 415 kilometres. It is available with a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 or 4.25 tonnes; the higher payload is available in the 4.25-tonne version. Check here in advance which driving licence your drivers need.

ARI 1570: around 1,500 kg

The ARI 1570 is an electric implement carrier for municipalities, municipal depots and industry. With a top speed of 70 km/h, it is designed for local operations rather than motorways. It is available as a flatbed, tipper, garbage collection vehicle and winter service vehicle.

Tax benefits for businesses
